BRAC is the world's largest development organisation by scale of operations — and for Shahriar K Fahim, it has been the crucible where research, advocacy, and social innovation meet real communities. He joined BRAC's Youth Platform in 2023, mobilising young people across Bangladesh to become agents of social change.

In 2026, he moved into BRAC's Social Innovation Lab (SIL) as Deputy Manager — a unit dedicated to designing, testing, and scaling solutions to Bangladesh's most pressing development challenges, from disability inclusion to climate resilience.

His time at BRAC has deepened his conviction that the most powerful development work happens at the intersection of rigorous evidence and genuine community trust.
